Hurry Up Before All the Bugatti Chirons Are Sold Out

Four-hundred built and 100 more to go

-

You better get on the ball and put in an order for a Bugatti Chiron because there’s only 100 more chances to buy one at this point.

Since 2016, twenty craftsmen and women have gathered in Molsheim to assemble approximately 1,800 components into what arguably is the world’s most exclusive automobiles. “A near-limitless collection of paints, materials, finishes, bespoke touches and accessories are available, resulting in a spectacular breadth of creativity among Chiron customers,” claims Bugatti, and who are we to argue? Since 2016, the Chiron has carried the torch for the hallowed French nameplate and, now, six years later, Bugatti has built the 400th Chiron.

The 400th Bugatti Chiron

“Every single part of the Chiron is a masterpiece of engineering, and bringing it all together requires the most dedicated and experienced specialists in the world,” according to Christophe Piochon, the president of Bugatti Automobiles. “Simply installing the carbon fiber panels over the advanced monocoque chassis requires a level of precision that only the most skilled craftspeople possess.”

The 400th example is a Chiron Super Sport with a dark green-tinted carbon fiber body that is paired with Super Sport magnesium wheels and an engine cover finished in “Nocturne.” “Fierce” touches that “blend seamlessly with the tinted carbon fiber panels” complement the exterior details.

An opulent vehicle such as this always demonstrates its grace on the inside, with Chiron #400 featuring full leather upholstery in Green and Beluga Black. Complementing the interior is black anodized trim and a steering wheel made of bare carbon fiber and leather. The buyer opted for the Sky View roof to illuminate everything good about being a gazillionaire.

Of course, being a Chiron, power comes from an 8.0-liter W16 developing approximately 1,600 horsepower thanks to a quartet of turbos. With a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Chiron Super Sport accelerates to 186 mph in 12.1 seconds and tops out at around 273 mph.

There will be only one hundred more Chirons built before Bugatti puts the model to rest, so you don’t have much time to dilly-dally. With a price well above $2 million, they’re going fast.
