A 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud originally owned by Prince Chula of Thailand is on the docket for Coys auction scheduled for Saturday at the auction company’s Chiswick House in London.

The prince and his cousin, Prince Bira, were well-known car enthusiasts and racers.

“We have had considerable interest in this car from collectors and dealers around the world,” Chris Routledge, Coys chief executive, was quoted in the company’s news release. “This is a great opportunity for someone to acquire a fabulous car which has a unique Royal connection.”

Another car on the docket that Coys said has been attracting pre-sale interest is an Alfa Romeo TZ by Giordanengo.

“This rare Alfa Romeo has the original style fiberglass bodywork, a 2,000cc twin-spark engine and is ready for the road,” the company said, adding that for the past 40 years, the car was housed in the telecommunications museum in Milan, Italy.

The docket also includes a 1984 Ferrari 512 BBI sports car, one of 42 built and with only 30,300 miles on its odometer, and an early Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon formerly owned by movie director Stanley Kubrick.
