Lot 712 is a Nassau Blue with black leather interior 1965 Chevrolet Corvette that is offered with both tops, Kelsey Hayes knockoff wheels and a fuel-injected L84 V8 engine (327cid/375hp) linked to a four-speed manual transmission.
The car is heavily optioned with telescoping steering column and teak wheels, transistor ignition, power brakes and windows and off-road exhaust.
The car underwent a frame-off restoration in 2012 and has been kept in climate-controlled comfort ever since. Since that restoration, it also has won the NCRS Duntov Award, NCRS Performance Verification, Triple Diamond Award, Regional 96.6 Top Flight, Regional 98.3 Top Flight, National 98.0 Top Flight, and Corvette Nationals Gold Concours awards.
The car, from the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams Collection, comes with all its awards and even the judging sheets.
