Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this rust-free 1968 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop. It is powered by a 426ci Hemi V8 backed by a manual four-speed transmission. Features include manual steering and brakes, black vinyl top and limited-slip 3.54 gears. Finished in Black with black interior, this Galen Govier-documented 1968 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop comes from the selling dealer with owner’s manual and clear title.

The exterior has been refinished in Black. Features include power bulge hood with Hemi call-outs, driver-side rear-view mirror, rocker trim, and trunk lid trim plus emblem.

A set of 15-Inch black steel wheels with standard hubcaps is wrapped in Coker redline radial tires.

The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include floor-mounted shifter and AM radio.

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, alternator and coolant temperature. An aftermarket 8,000-rpm tachometer is mounted on the steering column. The odometer reads 44,800 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

Power is provided by a 425-horsepower 426ci Hemi backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer states that the matching numbers engine was recently rebuilt by Tim Banning of For Hemis Only.

This Road Runner is factory-equipped with an independent suspension with torsion bars up front, and rear leaf springs and Dana 60 solid rear-drive axle with 3.54 gears with Sure-Grip out back.
