Today’s question of the day is pretty straight forward, do you prefer Ford or Chevrolet?

Me? I’ve owned four Chevys and they’ve all been solid and reliable vehicles. My only Ford experience was less than stellar.

I’ve owned Fords and they have had problems like 3.8L with blown head gaskets and transmission problems.
I have an S-10 heading toward 300,000 miles that has only had general service with no engine or transmission work at all.
Beyond service I prefer the handling and feel of all the GM’s I’ve had or have
Chevy by far. Two 1971 Chevy C-10’s, running on original stock long after rust has eaten them nearly away..
Ford any day over a Chevy!
I’ve had several Chevys but mostly Fords and the Ford have always felt better to drive were more reliable and were better at doing what they were built to do. Trucks were great trucks and my Torino GT was a great muscle car etc. etc.
One word…Corvette baby!!
I think that’s two words
It was a misspelling, it should have been CorvetteBaby:)
I may have stated Chevrolet back in the ‘50s, ‘60s and even ‘70s, but Ford is the advanced manufacturer now. Chevy fanatics are still basing pride on that V8 that debuted 67 years ago.
I prefer Chevrolet
I didn’t know that Ford and Chevrolet are still in business… Kind of like Yugo’s
What rock have you been living under?
First on Race Day vs. Shove it or leave it lay. Need I say more?
I had a 52 Chevy one ton than never let me down, But I prefer 67 FB Mustangs!
As some have said in the 50s & 60s Chevy was the leader but GM lost their soul Ford was always steadily impressive & keeping their heritage maybe their turning point was beating Ferrari then continuing the Mustang legacy even through the awful 70s with the II at least it mimicked the original then answered the outcry and naming the heir apparent the Probe The current Mustang is on par with offering from Europe and the US providing choices for all styles of drivers
The Mustang E was genius
Not to mention but I will the F150 following now electric
I have had both over the last 60 years of driving and I have had slightly more problems with the Chevys. However they both seem about the same otherwise. If given a choice now, I would go more by price than anything else. They are both good cars and trucks.
