Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Spyder.
“This Corvair Monza two-door convertible from 1963 was refinished in blue as part of a prior restoration and is accented by a white retractable cloth top, quad headlamps, bright front and rear bumpers, and chrome rocker moldings,” AutoHunter notes in the listing.
The interior features black vinyl fold-forward bucket seats with matching door panels, Spyder badging on the passenger side of the dash, and a rubber mat protects the carpet.
It’s powered by a rear-mounted, turbocharged 145ci flat-6 engine that produced a 150 horsepower when new. The engine is paired with a floor-mounted 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
A set of 15-inch steel wheels with polished hubcaps and whitewall tires complements the blue exterior. This Corvair rides on a Quadri-Flex independent suspension.
This Corvair’s auction ends on March 28, 2022, at 11:00 p.m. (PDT).
The sale includes a clear Oregon title.
