Justin Bell preserving the stories of auto racing’s heroes

New series available as podcast or in video format

-

Auto racer and broadcaster Justin Bell has launched a new podcast series, Life, With Legends, starting with a revealing interview with his own father, 5-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell.

The bi-weekly series debuted on the Patreon podcast platform, where episodes can be heard for $4 a month or viewed in video format for $5 a month.

“I have spent a lifetime in this wonderful world of fast cars, incredible drivers and famous race tracks around the world, and it has been a blessed life in so many ways,” Bell says on the site.

“But the part that I treasure most is the opportunity I have had to hear the stories of my friends, these legends of the sport. Sometimes it was just a story told at dinner, other times a shared experience between teammates, but always an insight into extraordinary moments of these lives lived at speed.

“The trouble is I also knew these were tales that deserved a better vault than my own notoriously unreliable memory.”

Realizing his unusual access to his own heroes, Bell decided to launch his series to preserve their stories.
