More than 1,100 advertising signs, gas pumps and globes and “railway rarities” are on the docket October 3-4 for the Automobilia, Petroliana & Railroadiana auction being staged live and online by Morphy’s in Denver, Pennsylvania.

The auction house said the sale will feature a private collection of 50 neon signs, including Mohawk gasoline, Chevrolet, Edsel and Lincoln/Zephyr dealerships signs, and a United Motors Service sign with spinning tires.

In total, nearly 500 gas and oil signs are on the docket, as well as 59 gas pumps and 53 gas globes.

Also on the docket is a 134-inch porcelain “torpedo” sign from Bob McDorman Chevrolet, a well-known Ohio dealership established in 1965, the auction company noted.
