VW shows video footage of record run up Chinese mountain

Volkswagen has released a 2-minute, 18-second video version of the recent record-setting run up the “Big Gate Road” on China’s Tianmen Mountain by the electric-powered ID.R race car. 

The car, driven by Romain Dumas, sped up the 6.77-mile road with its 99 hairpin turns in 7 minutes, 38.58 seconds.
