Branson Auction’s fall sale posts strong results

The Branson Auction annual fall sale posted more than $3.34 million in transactions with a 75 percent sell-through rate, the auction house reports.

The results were outstanding for the Missouri auction company, which typically averages in the $2.5 million to $2.8 million range for its semi-annual sales.

The 17-car Stroud Chevrolet Convertible collection accounted for nearly $478,000 in sales, topped by a 1959 Impala convertible that sold for $58,300 (figures include buyer’s fees).

At a special event on the eve of the auction, nearly $27,000 was raised in a special charity auction benefiting autism research.

Branson’s next sale is scheduled for April 20-21, 2018.
