Formula 1 All the Races: The First 1000 is the title of a new book that provides race-by-race coverage of each round of the World Driving Championship from the first race in 1950 to the 1,000th race earlier this year.
Only 1,000 copies will be available and you have to contact the publisher to get one because they are sequentially numbered and you can pick your own number, if you act quickly enough.
“An informative history integrated with an extensive easy-to-use source of reference, all within one affordable limited edition,” proclaims the publisher, Veloce Publishing.
“It is a book for drilling into F1 history at any given moment, or to enjoy as an easy ongoing storyline to be read cover-to-cover.”
The Formula 1 All the Races: The First 1000 book was written by Roger Smith, a member of Britain’s Guild of Motoring Writers.
Veloce adds that “fact-pods make information easy to find, and allow you to zoom in on the fact you want, assisted by maps, special illustrations, rare photos and ranking charts of driver performance over a convenient 1,000 event sample.”
The book also comes with a link so you can download information on the races since the 1,000th was completed in April.
The book spans 720 pages. It is available for £65.00 plus postage
