We are delighted to continue to introduce the race teams taking part in the Scottsdale Grand Prix, including some returning champions. The weekend-long event includes a Gatsby themed gala, as well as the free to attend race on November 5th.
Team #4: Marcellino Ristorante
Team owner: Marcellino and Sima Verzino
The Marcellino Ristorante team is back for the third year in a row with its maroon Italiano model vintage mini racers. Their team is owned by Marcellino and Sima Verzino. The cars will be labeled Nos. 7 and 11. Winners of the inaugural Grand Prix race, the team gets starting position 4.
Marcellino is passionate in crafting his cuisine using fresh, vibrant seasonal ingredients to create signature flavors while maintaining the integrity of true Italian cuisine. Everything Marcellino and Sima propose in their ristorante is based on Italian life, from the cuisine to the European service, the music and, of course, the ambiance.
Team #5: Cullum Homes
Team owner: Rod Cullum
If you are track-side on November 5 keep an eye out for Cullum Home’s iridescent deep-blue Italiano Model Vintage Mini Racer, No. 85. The team, owned by Rod Cullum, will start in fifth position.
Cullum Homes is a second-generation, family owned full-service design/build/renovations firm specializing in luxury custom home architectural design and construction. Cullum’s 30-year history encompasses a broad range of residential construction and its finely crafted custom homes can be found in many of the Phoenix Valley’s finest neighborhoods, including Mountain Shadows and The Silverleaf Club.
Team #6: Nathan & Associates
Team owner: Nate Nathan
This will be Nathan & Associates’ third year in the race. The team, owned by Nate Nathan, has a white Italiano model vintage mini racer that will be streaking round the track making an impression with its blue and yellow trim. Their car will be labeled No. 13.
