The countdown to the third annual Scottsdale Grand Prix has begun. The event celebrates the spirit of the Roaring ‘20s with a lavish outdoor Gatsby-themed party November 3 and a vintage race on the streets of Scottsdale on November 5.
We are delighted to introduce this year’s teams, starting with the three teams positioned at the front of the pack.
Pole Position Team: IBG Business & IBG/Fox & Fin
Team owners: John Zayac / Jim Afinowich
The team, owned by John Zayac and Jim Afinowich, will be circling the track in a pearl white Italiano model vintage mini racer, No. 511. This car was originally branded for the Almeida Molecular Imaging Foundation and was the winning car of the 2016 Grand Prix race.
IBG Business and IBG/Fox & Fin are supporters of the Almeida Molecular Imaging Foundation (AMIFund.org) and purchased the racer at the 2017 Russo & Steele Collector Car Auction for pole position entry into the 2017 Grand Prix of Scottsdale.

Team #2: Silverhawk Financial
The Silverhawk team, owned by Paul Mershon, brings a polished-aluminum Italiano model vintage mini racer to the event, labeled No. 33. This is the second year this team has been in the race. It will start in second position.

Team #3: Team Select Home Care
Team Owner: Mike Lovell
Starting in third position this year is the Team Select Home Care racer, a polished Italiano model vintage mini racer with maroon trim. The racer will be labeled No. 27. This team is returning for its second year in the Scottsdale Grand Prix.
