Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Power comes from an L78 400cid V8 backed by a Turbo Hydra-matic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include Formula steering wheel with tilt steering column, AM/FM radio with 8-track player, power front disc brakes, and more. Finished in white over red vinyl interior, this Poncho comes with PHS Automotive Services documentation, build sheet, window sticker, owner’s manual, and clear title as part of the sale.

The rust-free body has been refinished in the original hue of Cameo White (code 11). Features include “Screaming Chicken” hood decal, Shaker hood scoop, black grilles, color-keyed side-view mirrors, factory door edge guards, rear spoiler, and exhaust splitters. A set of 15-inch Pontiac “Snowflake”-style aluminum wheels is wrapped in Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS radial tires.

The cabin is furnished with a Firethorn (red) interior with 2+2 seating. Features include air conditioning, power steering with tilt steering column, Formula steering wheel, console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and Delco AM/FM radio with 8-track player.

The instrument panel consists of a 100-mph speedometer, 6,000-rpm tachometer with integrated clock, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The odometer reads 50,063 miles, which the selling dealer claims to be accurate.

Power is provided by the reportedly original 180-horsepower L78 400 backed by a Turbo Hydra-matic three-speed automatic.

This Pontiac was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle with a Safe-T-Track limited-slip differential. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
