Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 48,000-mile 2000 Jaguar XK8 coupe. It has been Arizona-owned since new and is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a ZF five-speed automatic transmission. Features include a mesh grille, chrome wheels, carbon fiber interior trim, traction control system, and more. Finished in gold over a light tan leather interior, this XK8 comes with a clean CARFAX report and clear title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The Topaz Metallic (code SEC) body has been upgraded with a mesh grille insert from an XKR. Additional exterior features include automatic on/off headlights, fog lamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and dual stainless steel exhaust tips.

Chrome 18-inch seven-spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45 (front) and 255/45 (rear) Kumho Solus TA71 Z-rated tires.

The cabin is appointed with Oatmeal (code AGD) leather interior with power-adjustable front bucket seats up front. Features include keyless remote entry, power windows and door locks, speed-sensitive power steering, leather- and wood-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, carbon fiber dash overlay, and woodgrain shift knob.

Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer, 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 48,398 miles, which lines up with the CARFAX report.

The 4.0-liter V8 is rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Service has been performed over the past decade at British Automotive Repair in Scottsdale. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted ZF five-speed automatic transmission.

A traction control system was standard equipment for this model. The front brakes were replaced last year, with new sway bar links installed in 2021.
