As I write this, Derek Shiekhi and I are surrounded by about 2,000 automobiles at Westworld, the location of the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. That’s where Derek suggested doing the AutoHunter Drive the Bid Podcast live on premises, so who am I to argue?
We started at the entrance of the indoor display at Westworld, which is where the “velvet rope” cars are on display — cars like a classic Mercedes 300SL, Bugatti Chiron, and Lexus LFA (though by breath was taken by a Lamborghini Countach). We then moved to a section of American muscle that included a 1971 Plymouth Hemi’Cuda, 1969 Yenko Camaro, and 1970 Boss 429.
There are other auction cars worthy of note that we should tell you about, but on AutoHunter: 1954 Mercury Monterey Special Custom Coupe, a 587/2-powered 1962 Porsche 356B Carrera 2 GS, and an LS-powered 1990 Chevrolet K1500 pickup, among others.
AutoHunter Cinema has plenty of other videos and podcasts created by the experts behind ClassicCars.com, the world’s largest online collector car marketplace. AutoHunter brings forth a dedicated live customer support team, quicker auction listings and exclusive benefits for both buyers and sellers.
