Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1970 Chevrolet Nova coupe. This Bow Tie is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering and an updated AM/FM/cassette radio. Finished in dark blue with a black vinyl top over a black vinyl interior, this Nova comes with a clear title from the selling dealership.

This 1970 Nova is finished in Fathom Blue. Features include dual rear-view mirrors, aftermarket exhaust extensions, and black vinyl top.

A set of 14-inch five-spoke SS wheels with trim rings is wrapped in 235/60 (front) and 245/60 (rear) BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

The cabin is furnished with a black vinyl front bench seat. Features include power steering, column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo.

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and fuel gauge, plus a set of three aftermarket gauges mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 51,581 miles.

Power is provided by a non-original 350ci small-block and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include black valve covers and air cleaner housing.

This Nova was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

  1. Originally a 307 Nova no doubt. 350 Nova’s came standard with a turbo 350 trans & not a 2 speed power glide. My Mother owned a factory original blue with black vinyl interior sport coupe ’72 Nova with a 307 2 speed power slide on the column.

  2. 307 Nova with TH 350 was a dog. I’d take the standard equipped 230 with a three on the tree and day. The 250 was the same price, but that 230 just felt like it had more torque to me. You paid extra for the 307, but when paired to a TH 350 or a power glide, it didn’t get up and go at all. Now the 3 TWENTY 7, L-78 or l-79….😀
