AutoHunter Spotlight: 2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1

-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1.

This 2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a 470-horsepower performance coupe in as-new condition showing only 14 miles on the odometer. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 sends power to the rear tires through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This Mustang is upgraded with performance, handling, and aerodynamic equipment that sets it apart. Features include Brembo brakes, Recaro racing seats, and a Magneride suspension. This Mach 1 is available now from a dealer with a clear California title.

The body shows factory finishes and fitment consistent with the new condition of the vehicle. The exterior color scheme is Oxford White with black and orange highlights along with Mach 1-specific aerodynamic treatment like a chin spoiler, bodyside decals, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets.

Charcoal-colored aluminum 19-inch wheels are shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized in 305/30 up front and 315/30 out back.

Inside the cabin, a set of power-adjustable Recaro buckets provide seating up front along with a bench in the rear. Amenities include a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, dual-zone automatic climate control, Mach 1 dash badging, push-button start, a SYNC 3 infotainment system, rain-sensing windshield wipers, illuminated vanity mirrors, smart-charging USB ports, remote keyless entry, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and additional vehicle data. The digital odometer reads 14 miles, which is consistent with the CARFAX report which states the car had 8 miles in September 2022.

The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 was rated at 470 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Mach 1-specific equipment includes an engine oil cooler, and power is delivered to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with a 3.73 ratio.

Mach 1-specific handling equipment includes Brembo calipers on four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The suspension uses a Magneride damping system. The CARFAX shows history of no accidents or damage.

The auction for this 2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1 ends on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. (PDT)
