Back in January, David P. Castro wrote about this exciting Lexus for auction during the 2023 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. If that wasn’t enough for you, we are excited to now share with you AutoHunter Cinema’s closer look at this 2012 Lexus LFA.
Only 500 LFAs were produced, and this is the only one finished in Steel Gray Metallic over an orange interior. Power comes from a 4.8-liter V10 with individual throttle bodies for 552 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque; shifting is handled by a six-speed automatic transmission. The LFA’s 0-60 sprint happens in less than 3.7 seconds, with the top end achieved at 203 mph. Though its development resulted in being over budget and overpriced, and though sales were slow in the primary market, the secondary market has been thriving, with this car selling for $748,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.
