AutoHunter Spotlight: 1954 Cadillac Eldorado

Pimpin’, 1954-style!

-

Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this restored 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. It is equipped with a power seat, power windows, Autronic-Eye headlight dimmer and wire wheels. It is powered by a 331ci V8 mated to a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Azure Blue with a white convertible top over a blue and white leather interior, this Eldorado is offered by the selling dealer with records, build sheet, convertible boot, clear duplicate Ohio title and original manuals and literature.

A complete restoration was conducted in 2010 with the body being resprayed in the original Azure Blue (code 19). Exterior features include aluminum rear fender trim, anodized gold badging, rear wheel skirts and dual exhaust outlets.

The two-tone leather interior features matching door panels, dash and carpeting. Amenities include power windows, power-adjustable front seat, lap belts, push-button radio, clock and Autronic Eye headlight dimmer.

Chrome 15-inch factory wire wheels with Cadillac crests are wrapped in 8.20-15 Firestone whitewall tires.

Instrumentation consists of a sweeping 110-mph speedometer along with fuel level and coolant temperature gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 10,673 miles, which the seller states may be accurate.

The 230-horsepower 331ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.

The gas tank and the exhaust system were replaced within the past year. Braking is power-assisted. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the photo gallery.

The sale also includes records, color charts, manuals, brochure, build sheet and convertible boot. The selling dealer has posted start-up, convertible top operation, and exterior walkaround videos, all which can be viewed in the auction page.

The auction for this 1954 Cadillac Eldorado ends on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 12:xx p.m. (MST)
