Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this gold 1970 Oldsmobile 442. It is powered by a 455ci V8 engine backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission. Features include notched rear bumper with exhaust trumpets, gold bucket-seat interior, rear spoiler, factory 8-track stereo and power steering and brakes. This vehicle is available now from an Oregon-based dealer and comes with a clear title.

The exterior has been refinished in the original Galleon Gold, as verified by paint code 55 on the trim tag. Other features include W25 fiberglass hood with twist-lock pins, black stripes along the sides and on the hood, color-keyed sports-styled mirrors and W35 fiberglass spoiler.

A set of color-matched 14-inch Oldsmobile Super Stock wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

The interior is upholstered in gold vinyl with woven inserts. Features include simulated woodgrain inserts, remote driver-side mirror, gold center console with Hurst 4-speed shifter and storage compartment, and factory AM/8-track stereo tape player.

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer with the Rally Pac, which includes temperature and oil pressure gauges to the left and a tachometer/clock combination to the right. The four-spoke Custom-Sport steering wheel features a leather-grained vinyl rim for positive non-slip grip, per the original brochure. The odometer reads 33,000 miles but the true mileage on this Oldsmobile is unknown.

455ci V8

Power comes from a 455ci 4-barrel V8 backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include an aluminum intake, chrome air cleaner and cast-iron exhaust manifolds. Power steering and brakes (front discs and rear drums) make for a more comfortable drive.

This 442 is factory-equipped with the FE2 special heavy-duty suspension, which includes HD springs, shocks and lower control arms, plus stabilizer cars both front and rear. Power is delivered via a 12-bolt Anti-Spin rear with 3.42:1 gears. Additional undercarriage images, including a video, can be seen in the photo gallery.
