  1. 1968 Citroën AK400 (2CV van). Given to me when I was 13. It was a battered old thing but still ran. Learned to drive and basic survival mechanics with it. When I ran out of gas I would use any flammable liquids available to get me home. Including old gin, cheap eau de cologne and other. Flexifuel they call it now.

  2. My first “car” was my 1991 camaro, which I still have. I don’t really miss the S10 blazer I had, which was the first vehicle I owned. Learned to drive in a 1978 Datsun king cab, and it was so reliable that I own 3 nissans today.

  3. 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne 2 door (blue & real rust color). Floor shift conversion, 327 w/cam, etc., duel exhaust. (Back seat was big enough for me to sleep in – went like hell, til I blew it up. Good Times.
