Gran Turismo 7 is a week away from being released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 4. Sony released a commercial hyping up the highly anticipated racing video game and the 30-second spot showcases the driving experience of the racing simulator, the catalog of cars available in the game, and the user options to customize their cars.
The latest edition of the Gran Turismo franchise will feature more than 420 cars from 60-plus automotive brands and a gamer can race on 34 tracks in different location with 97 unique layouts. Additional cars and tracks will be added in future updates.
For Gran Turismo 7, cars can be purchased at three dealerships:
- Brand Central Dealership: Cars produced after 2001
- Used Car Dealership: Used cars are often more affordable than something brand new
- Legendary Car Dealership: Rare cars with historical value
The Tuning Shop has returned. Performance parts can be purchased and installed to enhance the performance of your car. Gran Turismo 7 has more than 60 tuning parts available for each car in the game. GT Auto is available to customize the exterior of your car with more than 650 aero parts, 130-plus wheels, and 1,200 real paint colors are available. The Livery Editor gives players the opportunity to edit the exterior paint and decals of their car.
License Center and Missions are once again available for drivers to develop their skills, while multiplayer gives you the opportunity to race in person with a split screen or you can play online against other Gran Turismo 7 players.
Gamers have been waiting since June 11, 2020, when the development of GT7 was announced at a PS5 event. The previous edition, Gran Turismo Sport, was released in North America on October 17, 2017, and sold an estimated 8 million copies by June 2019.
