Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1973 Volkswagen Type 4.

“This 1973 Volkswagen Type 4 Model 412 four-door fastback sedan resided with its original owner for 47 years and is a garage-kept, all-original car with straight panels, glossy finishes, and a well-kept interior,” AutoHunter notes in the listing.

The 4-door fastback is finished in Saturn Yellow with quad headlights, brightwork and rides on silver-painted steel wheels with VW-branded center caps.

It features front brown vinyl buckets seats with matching carpet and door panels. The black and woodgrain dash has an AM/FM radio, 120 mph speedometer, fuel gauge and an analog clock.

This VW is powered by a rear-mounted air-cooled 1,795cc dual-carbureted flat-4 engine paired with a floor-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.

The suspension utilizes coil springs, a rear trailing wishbone, MacPherson struts in the front, and the seller states the brakes have been replaced.

This Volkswagen’s auction ends on January 24, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. MST.
