Vintage racers will share the Sebring circuit with vintage aircraft for the Classic Sebring 12 Hours: Pistons and Props, hosted December 1-5 by Historic Sportscar Racing in central Florida.

The pandemic forced cancelation of the aircraft portion of the program in 2020, but it returns to the former Hendricks Field, a World War II-era military air field where cars have raced for nearly 70 years.

Featured aircraft include a a 1942 Vultree BG-15 Valiant and a 1943 Vultree BGT-13 Valiant. Only four BG-15s remain in operation. The one that will be at Sebring was a military service until 1945, and then was sold as surplus for $200. It has flown regularly since and never been restored.
