’68 Shelby GT500 KR Mustang tops Carlisle Fall auction

Auction posts nearly $6 million in sales and 70 percent sell-through rate

Carlisle Auctions reports nearly $6 million in sales and a 70 percent sell-through rate for its Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction held September 30 and October 1 in Pennsylvania.

Lots on offer ranged from an 1800s buckboard wagon to a 2021 Ford Bronco.

The top-5 sales reported by the auction company were for a 1968 Ford Shelby GT500 KR that sold for $141,775, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air that went for $87,740, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS that brought $82,500, a 1969 Buick GS that went for $75,970 and a 1969 Ford Bronco selling for $72,760.

Carlisle Auctions next sale is scheduled for November 12-13 at Lakeland, Florida.
