Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet finished in its original Amethyst Metallic paint.

“Launched for the 1989 model year, the 964 generation of the Porsche 911 had a more aerodynamic body than its G-series predecessor,” AutoHunter notes in this Porsche’s listing.

The body features a fully automatic black fabric top and a third brake light placed above an automatically deploying spoiler integrated into the engine cover.

Inside the Porsche are two seats upholstered in light gray with body-colored contrast pipping, a white center console, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management system with a touchscreen and dial that raises and lowers the rear spoiler.

Power comes from a 3.6-liter flat-6 engine linked to a 5-speed manual transmission.

When the seller purchased the car in 1997 the odometer showed 34,329 miles and over the past 24 years, the seller has added 10,000 miles.

This Porsche’s auction ends October 6 at 11:20 a.m. PDT.
