Pick of the Day: 2-for-1 deal includes Edsel wagon, matching 14-foot boat

’59 Fleetform runabout matches the ’59 Villager

-

The Pick of the Day is a two-for offer, a 1959 Edsel Villager 6-passenger station wagon and matching 1959 Fleetform outboard runabout boat being offered on ClassicCars.com by their private seller in Justin, Texas.

“Beautiful and extremely rare 1959 Edsel Villager 4-door 6-passenger station wagon with a matching restored 1959 14′ Fleetform outboard runabout boat,” the seller offers.

“It is the perfect family vacation combination for the 1950s. The Edsel wagon is in amazing original condition inside and out.

“It is one of the most beautiful station wagons ever produced combining glamour and utility. It has its original (and rebuilt) 332cid V8 engine and automatic transmission that runs like a top. The interior is completely original and it even has the original Window Sticker. It is extremely rare with a total production of only 5,687 cars”

The seller says the station wagon originally was sold by Ray Ridge Motors in Tacoma, Washington, and “has been pampered all its life and it shows.”

Meanwhile, the 14-foot boat has been “fully restored and matches the Edsel in year, style and color combination. It has its original 35hp Evinrude Lark outboard motor with electric start. This is one of the first fiberglass boats made with great ’50s styling and provenance.”

The 2-for-1 price is $48,900, though the vehicle can be sold by itself for $40,900. We presume the trailer is included in the package, but suggest verifying that with the seller, who can be contacted through the advertisement.

  1. Pick of the day is what is out there. These are spectacular. You want boring let’s see those British or Russian Pick of the Day. IMHO

  2. That’s an awesome pick of the day! Love the wagon and the boat! That combination would take you right back to 1959 – 1960.
