Bentley has issued a news release celebrating the completion of the first of 15 special Pikes Peak Continental GT by Mulliner cars to commemorate the record-run up the Colorado mountain in 2019.
The cars feature “exclusive Radium by Mulliner paintwork, carbon fiber body kit, Acid Green brake disc calipers, and Pirelli P Zero Color Edition Tyres,” the company said, adding that 35 percent of the vehicles also will wear the optional mountain decal, just like the record-setting race car.
Additional features include Alcantara interior with Radium contrast stitching and accents, carbon fiber trim and speaker covers in a Black Anodized and Radium finish.
It was at the 2019 Pikes Peak Hillclimb that a Bentley Continental GT set a production-car record with driver Rhys Millen reaching the summit in 10 minutes, 18.4 seconds, breaking the former record by 8.4 seconds.
All 15 Pikes Peak-edition cars, powered by 626-horsepower, twin-turbocharged Bentley W12 engines, have been allotted and those deliveries begin in September, Bentley added.
WOW! Just WOW!!!
