Mini offers guide to drive-in movie enjoyment

Digital download includes link to find a drive-in movie near you

-

One result of the coronavirus pandemic has been renewed interest in drive-in movie venues. To enhance the drive-in movie experience, Mini USA has launched a digital guide to a night at the drive-in, including a search function to find your nearest facilities.

The guide is available for free download on the Mini USA website.

“As the COVID19 pandemic has canceled or postponed most traditional summertime activities and presented challenges for people to find safe ways to get out and enjoy their communities, interest in activities such as drive-in movies have surged around the country,” the automaker reports in its announcement.

“The Mini Drive-In Movie Guide provides not only Mini owners but anyone with the car, the opportunity to search out a drive-in destination that’s nearby and get out for a drive to the theater.”

The Mini guide shares the history of the drive-in theater, a drive-in movie locator, drive-in tips, snack ideas, an interview with J.C. Barone, professor and film producer, and tips for organizing a car-club movie night in any parking lot.
