The Journal Podcast: The generational shift of car culture

A car culture revolutionary who is clearing a swath for the next generation. Casey Putsch knows kids like cars

-

Managing editor Tom Stahler welcomes Genius Garage founder and YouTube broadcaster Casey Putsch. The two discuss the coming paradigm and generational shifts in the car culture and how youth, and older generation acceptance is essential to the survival of the hobby.

Casey Putsch is a lifetime car builder, road-racer, and relentless supporter of education and youth. He is well known for creating the World’s only turbine powered Batmobile and the Omega Car. Casey was awarded the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in Education and honored to fly with the US Air Force Thunderbirds for his philanthropic work creating and leading the Genius Garage Educational Programs. Casey became an internet celebrity through his colorful automotive stories on VINwiki and found a social media fan base rallied around his core values, life stories, and entertaining automotive builds. A brashly outspoken critic of the automotive status quo, Casey never backs down fighting for the causes he believes in.
