Mercedes-Benz has launched its 2019-2020 watch collection of timepieces designed with “sensual purity” as their theme.
“Like the vehicles,” the company said, “all the models — from the classic, elegant and basic through to sporty — are characterized by the synthesis of functionality and emotion. The hallmark brand identity arises from the harmony of sensuous freeform surfaces and strictly geometrical formed elements. This lends to high-quality watches with a certain distinctiveness.”
Mercedes said the flagship of the watch fleet is the Swiss-made Men’s Automatic-Chronograph watch, Motorsport with a dial in black carbon fiber, with blue and silver accents, hands that can be read in the dark, and date display.
Meanwhile, the Sport Fashion M3 Chronograph for men has “a fashionably dynamic appearance.” There’s also a Women’s Sport Fashion M3 watch with a stainless-steel housing, white leather strap and white ceramic bezel with rose-gold features and Swarovski crystals on the hour indices.
New models include the Classic Automatic and Chronograph Classic Rally watches. The Classic Automatic has a bronze housing “interplayed with the stainless-steel base and arches sapphire crystal” while the Chronograph Classic Rally has a square Carre shape and is presented in black, beige and Bordeaux colors.
