A 1976 Alfa Romeo once owned by Muhammad Ali will be on the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction as lot No. 726.

The silver Spider convertible was purchased by Ali at European Imports in Lake Forest, Illinois. According to the book Running with the Champ, Ali owned it for a short time before passing it to the current owner.

The car will be sold with the original registration signed by Ali.

The Spider is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The odometer reads 80,721. The miles are believed to be original.

Barrett-Jackson’s annual Las Vegas auction is scheduled for September 27-29 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
