Moving west, the Danville Concours d’Elegance takes place in the town just east of California’s Bay Area with a weekend of events that includes a public classic car tour on Saturday and the concours on Sunday.

The concours takes the form of an old-car festival in Danville’s historic downtown, which “will overflow with the sights, sounds and smells of classic, sports performance and exotic automobiles, as well as fine wooden yachts and cruisers, motorcycles and vintage trailers,” according to the concours website.

The Dayton Concours also will feature a Craftsman Guild Model Exhibition, a special appearance and show by the professional automotive model makers.
