All-original ’77 Eldorado

-

While the other big Cadillacs were downsized for the 1977 model year — by the way, a model year that marked the marque’s 75th anniversary — the Eldorado retained its 126.3-inch wheelbase and stretched a full 224 inches in length, most likely because it had been restyled just the year before.

The Pick of the Day is one of those 1977 Cadillac Eldorado coupes, and this one, being offered by a private seller in Anaheim, California, is an original garage-kept example driven less than 41,000 miles since new, according to its advertisement on ClassicCars.com.

The ad notes that this is a two-owner car and is completely original inside and out.

“This vehicle features a smooth-shifting automatic transmission, power front and rear disc brakes, power windows, power locks, power steering, ice-cold AC, working heater, AM/FM radio, power seats and much more,” the seller notes, adding that the car has never been involved in any sort of traffic mishap.

Power comes from a 425cid — yes, that’s 7.0 liters of displacement — V8. The seller is asking $12,495.
