Featured on AutoHunterthe online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Championship Edition.

“This 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 3LT C8.R performance coupe has driven 215 miles since final assembly and is number 967 of 1,000 units produced as a commemorative IMSA GTLM Championship Edition,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Equipment includes an optional axle-lift system, the Z51 suspension and braking package, and a customizable 12” digital gauge display.”

It’s one of 1,000 special C8.R editions and one of only 350 in this color combination, commemorating the IMSA GTLM race series and is further equipped with the Z51 performance package. The exterior is finished in Accelerate Yellow Metallic and features Carbon Flash Metallic sideview mirrors, special C8.R graphics on the rear quarter panels.

The interior has heated, cooled, and eight-way-powered Strike Yellow upholstered seats. Amenities includes a head-up display, wireless charging, a GPS navigation system with 8” touchscreen, front and rear cameras, a Bose 14-speaker audio system, and a performance data recorder.

This Corvette is powered by a mid-mounted an LT2 6.2-liter OHV V8 engine that produced a factory-rated 495 horsepower when new. The engine is paired with a paddle-shifted Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle.

The sale includes a clear Florida title, a window sticker, literature, two key fobs, a front license plate bracket, a brake cooling kit, and a car cover in a Corvette-branded duffle. The CARFAX report lists no accidents or damage with a first owner reported in Lake Wales, Florida in February 2022, and no subsequent entries. 

This 2022 Chevrolet Corvette’s auction ends on May 2, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. (PDT).
