In 2018, I drove a LC 500 from Connecticut to the Greenbrier Concours in West Virginia and was impressed with how great a GT car the LC500 is. The Lexus is capable, comfortable and looks stunning.
I showed it at the Saturday cars and coffee event before the Sunday concours and the then brand-new Lexus received more attention from people young and old than the Ferraris parked next to it.
The build quality is faultless, the Mark Levinson audio system is one of the top factory audio systems I have ever heard, second only to the one in the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The best part about the Lexus is that you can practically guarantee that in 15 years, it will still be in amazing condition and not need thousands of dollars of repairs done.
So, if you want to latch onto something early in the future collector market, this Lexus LC 500 has an asking price of $72,900. It is truly one of the finest GT cars ever built.

Without an EV system it’s a dinosaur for dinosaurs
It would be a tragedy to ruin this beauty with EV system.
As a long time Lexus owner, very happily I might add, this car bombed big time for lexus. I.E. naturally aspirated engine ( read old style), synthetic materials throughout interior ( this for a $90k car). I went to buy one when first announced and was highly disappointed. Wound up with an AMG Merc, no contest. When ‘leather interior’ is stated’, it is mostly ‘ synthetic leather’. I think Lexus has had a problem with high quality materials for their interiors since the tsunami. The LC500 is a fine car but really does not compete with cars in the $90-100k range. JMO!
