Barrett-Jackson Countdown: 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible

-

(This is the third in a 10-day countdown leading up to Barrett-Jackson’s annual collector car auction in Las Vegas.)

This stunning example of a Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz has been meticulously restored to its original form over the past two years, including a return to its original Amethyst exterior color.

With a total production run of just 1,800 vehicles, this is a rare car.

All of the chrome throughout the car has been re-plated, and the stainless-steel trim pieces have been polished and buffed to a mirror finish. The interior has been completely redone, from the dashboard and leather seats to the carpet.

A new and correct convertible top has been installed, along with all-new glass and wide whitewall tires on show-quality saber rims. The matching-numbers 365ci engine was removed, repainted in correct Cadillac Blue. All seals and gaskets have been replaced. The entire engine compartment looks like it just rolled off the line back in 1957.

The car has an automatic transmission.

Great care was taken in assuring this vehicle has kept to original specs. Everything this car was originally assembled with is still with the car. Since the recent completion, it has been driven less than 20 miles.

This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible will be lot No. 757 at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas Auction taking place October 19-21 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Resort. To register as a bidder and learn more visit Barrett-Jackson’s website.
