Bidders buzz at traditional collector car sales when the auctioneer shouts, “The reserve is off!”

We may know as soon as 11 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time) November 3 when bidding is scheduled to end on the AutoHunter website for a 1932 Ford roadster formerly owned by Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars television fame.
The Dearborn Deuce steel-bodied hot rod had been consigned to the AutoHunter site with a reserve price, but the car has been switched to no-reserve status, meaning the consignor has withdrawn the minimum price at which the car can sell. The High-Boy style hot rod, featured in a 2014 episode of Pawn Stars, carries a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine linked to a 700R4 automatic transmission. The engine is mounted beneath a louvered hood. The car is finished in black semi-gloss with a fold-down black top, blacked-out grille, and black-leather bench seat.
The car has Wilwood disc brakes, Currie rear and Strange drilled axle. Front suspension is traditional I-beam with rear multilink featuring transverse leaf springs.
The odometer shows little more than 2,300 miles, some 2,000 of them added in the past four years by the consignor.
