If you are looking for a modern or classic car that is up for auction, you should certainly check out Autohunter. This website has a great selection of car listings of all eras, and you would be amazed at what you could pick up on the website. There are both classic and modern cars listed, and sometimes you can find some really rare machines. One such example is this 1932 Ford Roadster, which was formerly owned by Rick Harrison best known for the History series Pawn Stars.
A Famous Car
A bit of information on this car then. It is a Dearborn Duece steel body finished in a gorgeous black-semi gloss over a black leather upholstered interior. The car was totally rebuilt, with a custom frame built for the car and a 6.0-liter LS2 engine and a 700r4 automatic transmission fitted too. The car did a feature on the show, back in a 2014 episode of Pawn Stars. The car is now located in Arizona, where it’s listed for sale in the seller’s name. Finding Roadsters in as good condition as this one is quite the challenge.
An Amazing Finish And Engine
The finish is rather fetching, and it’s a fenderless Highboy style build. The front end of the car features a fully enclosed engine compartment, and it also has louvered side panels, chrome bumpers, as well as a blacked-out grille, an original style 1932 Ford grill as well. There is even a low profile windshield too! And the side mirrors are chrome too, adding quite a classy look.
And, as mentioned previously, the car has a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine that has been upgraded with polished headers, a jet coated exhaust, carbon fiber look valve covers, and, finally, a polished serpentine belt system. And this power is harnessed via a 700R4 automatic transmission that has been rebuilt prior to its installation.
