Recaro launches new seat options

-

Recaro has two new seats on the market, one of them designed for fifth-, sixth- and seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvettes and the other the latest version of perhaps its most popular aftermarket sports seat.

The new Sportster GT features the company’s “victory” design and uses “advanced performance materials,” including high-grade leather and cloth, performance foam, metal base, thin reinforced polymer-based backrest, and has an integrated headrest and belt pass-throughs and racing-style bolsters.

The seat, which goes on sale this month, is available in black cloth; premium leather; carbon-weave fabric; or red, blue or cloud-gray suede, Recaro said in its news release.

Speed V is designed for later-model Chevrolet Corvettes

Meanwhile, the new Speed V seat is designed for Corvette applications and is designed to provide the look, feel and support of a racing seat with the necessary comfort for daily driving.

The seat also featured the “victory” cushion design with integrated headrest, Recaro’s proprietary integrated lumbar support, pronounced side bolsters and pass-throughs for 3- or 4-point safety belts.

The Speed V is available in three accent colors — red, white or yellow — to match Corvette color themes.
