Vietnamese YouTuber, ND-Woodworking Art, carved out of wood one of the world’s most expensive vehicles ever sold – a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO.
With only 39 examples of the car produced by Ferrari, 250 GTOs have become the world’s most sought-after — and expensive — automobiles. Prices have ranged up to $70 million.
The YouTuber took only 70 days to re-create a 250 GTO out of wood, and he sourced his materials from discarded trees to lessen his environmental impact. You can see his entire process in the video below:
While a bit smaller than the original supercar, this fully functioning wood car is still very impressive.
The inspiration behind the YouTuber’s project? To trade the replica for a real Mercedes to gift to this son.
Do you think that’s a fair trade?
Only just now saw this post and watched the vid. It was fantastic. Fun stuff. Thanks for the link, Racheal
