The latest Shelby F-150 has been announced by Shelby American, an all-terrain pickup with towering capabilities and a price tag to match.

With 775 horsepower in the optional supercharged version, the limited-edition Ford has the performance and styling cues of Shelby vehicles in the guise of an off-road super truck.

“The Shelby F-150’s supercharged personality delivers spectacular thrills,” Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American, said in a news release. “It has a new suspension, more power and even more technology. Our performance DNA is strong within this super truck, which gives enthusiasts the opportunity to drive an amazing off-road-capable Shelby right off the dealer showroom floor.”

The four-door pickup, with the standard naturally aspirated V8 producing 395 horsepower, comes with complete heavy suspension updates, including Fox all-terrain shocks like those on the rugged Ford Raptor.   The suspension system allows the truck to be tuned for the street, rock crawling or general off-roading.

The interior has two-tone leather seat covers with Shelby emblems, official serial number and floor mats.  A limited number of the special trucks are planned for the US, and additional units for outside the country. Each vehicle is documented in the official Shelby Registry.

“With the growing demand for our muscle trucks worldwide, we spent the past year carefully improving and engineering our Shelby off-road version of the tough new Ford F-150,” said Vince LaViolette, the company’s vice president of operations. “The refinement designed into it is unprecedented in our history. Building upon the advancements that Ford designed into the F-150, we created the most capable, enjoyable and sophisticated off-road truck to wear the Shelby nameplate.”

The Shelby F-150 will be available at select Tuscany and Ford dealerships.  The starting price is $107,080.  For more information, visit the Shelby American website.
