Three free seminars will be offered Saturday, June 13, for anyone to attend at the Hotel Hershey as part of the annual Elegance at Hershey.

The artists’ seminar will showcase work from Loy Lockwood, Dan Reed and David Snyder with a discussion moderated by Michael Hemsley. The discussion will focus on automotive artand its place in the world of automotive collecting as well as what inspires such artists, original art verses limited editions, hints on framing, and how to display art in various environments.

art1Another seminar will explore Milton Hershey’s life, from his impoverished beginnings to his success with the Hershey Chocolate Company. This presentation features images from the Hershey Community Archives photograph collection as well as excerpts from oral history interviews. This seminar is presented by author Pamela Whitenack.

The Keno brothers, Leigh and Leslie, are the co-grand marshals of the Elegance at Hershey and will present a discussion titled “Hidden Treasures — Our Lifetime Search for Masterpieces of American Furniture and Magnificent Motor Cars.”  The Keno brothers are American antiquarians and have appeared on the popular show Antiques Roadshow as well as many other shows about antiquing. They also have announced the creation of their own auction company with plans for their first sale sometime this fall.
