Boston native Bob Long started his career in radio as a teenager. He was a founder of the Talk America Radio Network and focused his own on-air career on news, music, sports and automobiles. He became host of his own weekly national automotive radio show in 1992 and also hosts "The Long Drive," a daily radio feature distributed through more than 700 stations. Programs he has hosted include "AutoWorld," "Cars and Guitars," "Grandstand," and "Motor News Weekly," among others. He was executive producer and host of "MotorTrend Radio Magazine" for eight years. He and his family live near Orlando, Florida.
