British agent traveled in a pink, 6-wheeled Rolls packed with Bond-styled weapons

-

From 1964 to 1966, British television viewers watched Thunderbirds, a science-fiction series shot with what was termed “Supermarionation” and featuring electronic marionette puppets. The series was set in the 2060 and followed former astronaut Jeff Tracy, his sons and a British agent and their International Rescue team.

The Video of the Day features FAB1, British agent Lady Penelope’s  Rolls-Royce, a 6-wheeled vehicle full of James Bond-style weapons as well as the capability of traveling on water or snow skis.

  1. At 6:05 they tossed in a picture of Fireball XL5: Steve Zodiak’s daily driver (and galactic spaceship). This was a separate, earlier show and should be the subject of the next segment. Supposed to be the biggest dry-system nitrous bottle ever made.
Is it true that Edelbrock made a special Endurashine-finished intake manifold for the Rolls, just in case the Lady lost her mirror and needed a makeup adjustment?
