Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 12,000-mile 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula Firehawk. This sport coupe is enhanced with performance parts from Street Legal Performance (SLP) Engineering, a Michigan-based shop that specialized in upgrades for the Firebird as well as its F-body sibling, the Chevrolet Camaro. Torque comes from an LT1 5.7-liter V8 connected to a six-speed manual transmission. Features include removable T-tops, power convenience options, a Delco audio system, and a composite hood with cold-air induction. Finished in Dark Purple Metallic over a Graphite leather interior, this Firebird comes with a clean CARFAX and a clear title.

Equipped with signature pop-up headlights, the Dark Purple Metallic paint finish has scripted Firehawk logos on the lower doors along with an SLP-exclusive cold-air induction composite hood and an integrated rear spoiler. Dual exhaust outlets exit at the rear end via an optional sport exhaust system.

Footwork comes via 17-inch aluminum wheels which are shod in Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval tires.

The monochromatic cabin is upholstered in Graphite leather. SLP equipment includes a Hurst shift lever, embroidered floor mats, and a plaque identifying this car as number 0538 in the production series. Additional amenities include a 10-speaker Delco audio system, air conditioning, cruise control, and power mirrors, locks, and windows.

Vehicle vitals are provided through a 150-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges showing oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit analog odometer reads 12,349 miles, which is in line with the last mileage figure of 12,276 miles logged on the CARFAX report in September 2022.

The LT1 5.7-liter V8 is upgraded with a cold air induction system and a special air conditioning filter. Torque is fed rearward through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. The seller states the car recently received an inspection and an oil change.

Braking is handled by power-assisted anti-lock discs.

The CARFAX report shows an accident-free vehicle history with ownership in New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Included with the sale are the owner’s manuals, a brochure, an SLP Engineering build sheet, and a window sticker showing a $23,652 vehicle price including destination.

The auction for this this 12,000-mile 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula Firehawk ends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. (PDT)
