Rare and Registered! Three Shelby Mustangs for auction

GAA Classic Cars is offering a trio of Shelby Mustangs at its upcoming auction on Saturday, February 25, 2023. The three Shelby Mustangs are well-documented and preserved for the classic car collector that wants the zenith of 1960s pony car performance.

Lot # ST0139 is a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 finished in Wimbledon White with Lemans Blue racing stripes. It’s powered by a factory Hi-Performance 289ci V8 engine upgraded by Shelby, and an automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. This Shelby Mustang’s pedigree is documented by its appearance in the Shelby Registry, documentation from the Shelby American Automobile Club, Shelby American vehicle order forms, and dealership letters.

This 1967 Mustang Shelby GT350, Lot # ST0112, was originally built on June 6, 1967 and is 1-of-2,048 1967 Shelby two-door fastbacks produced. Power is provided by a 289ci V8 Hi-Performance engine with Shelby modifications, and a four-speed manual transmission. This Nightmist Blue over black GT350 has 76,000 miles and it’s history is documented by a Marti Report, a Shelby Research Group technical report, and is listed in the SAAC Registry.

The third Shelby Mustang, Lot # ST0140, available at GAA’s upcoming auction is a 1967 GT500 finished in Brittany Blue with white stripes over a black interior. It is 1-of-2,048 GT500s built in 1967 and the sale includes production documentation from a Marti Report and the Shelby Registry. This GT500 was built on April 12, 1967, and originally sold at the Northwestern Motor Car Co. dealership of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It’s powered by a 428/355 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.50:1 rear end. The GT500’s current branded Florida title indicates 37,000 miles.
