“During the restoration, the body was media-blasted to bare metal, then disassembled for repairs,” the listing states. “The rear quarter panels, door skins, package tray, and cowl were replaced with reproduction parts. According to the seller, all rust damage was repaired using the correct gauge of sheet metal and MIG-welded. The welds and body seams were treated with rust inhibitor and sealed. The bodywork was covered with self-etching primer and polyester high-build primer, then block-sanded and disassembled again for the application of two-stage Sherwin-Williams Starlight Black paint. Following that, the panels were wet-sanded and buffed before being put back together.”

It rides on gray 14-inch Pontiac Rally II wheels with chrome center caps, stainless trim rings and 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

This GTO has black vinyl front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels. It features a center console, AM radio, and manual windows.

Under the hood is a 400ci V8 with a metallic light blue engine block, heads, and intake. The engine is paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

The odometer reads 148 miles, which the seller states reflect the number of miles logged since the restoration was completed, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

The sale includes a New Mexico vehicle registration certificate in the seller’s name, restoration receipts and photos. Also included with the sale are Pontiac Historic Services documents, the original dealer invoice, and a reproduction window sticker.
