Released in 1978, The Driver is an often overlooked car chase movie, but its legacy continues as a major influence of Baby Driver.

Ryan O’Neal plays The Driver, a getaway driver for hire that is being pursued by The Detective, played by Bruce Dern. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommended it. I’m not sure if it’s streaming anywhere, which is why I bought on DVD, but track it down and make it a Blockbuster night.

So dear readers, Do you like the movie “The Driver”?

Vote and give us your take in the comments section. Like my high school history teacher always told me, “There are no wrong answers.”

My Take? Oh, heck yeah I do. Great movie.
